American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Pub.L. 111-5 Feb.17, 2009) "ARRA" investments at Gallatin Field

The Gallatin Airport Authority has an Other Transaction Agreement with the Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration for "ARRA" investment to address the construction of Checked Inline Baggage Screening systems for Gallatin Field Airport. 2009 Passenger Boardings Down 2.4%

Gallatin Field Airport recorded its second busiest year ever with 342,714 passengers boarding airline flights in 2009. While boardings were down 2.4% from the record setting 2008, Gallatin Field Airport fared well compared to other airports across the nation.

Frontier to add 2nd Denver flight November 5th

 DENVER, September 17, 2009 - Frontier Airlines (OTCBB: FRNTQ) today announced it will add one more daily frequency each to Bozeman’s Gallatin Field Airport (BZN), the Durango-La Plata County Airport (DRO) and Oklahoma City’s Will Rogers Airport (OKC). United Airlines to Offer Daily Bozeman-San Francisco for Winter Season

Gallatin Field Airport (Bozeman, Montana) and United Airlines today announced United will begin seasonal daily nonstop service to United’s hub at San Francisco International Airport beginning Dec. 17, 2009.

Terminal Construction Information

The Gallatin Airport Authority has embarked on a significant expansion of the airline terminal building. This expansion is the largest airline terminal expansion ever in the state of Montana. Unfortunately, this expansion will not come without some impact on our customers. The Gallatin Field Airport handles approximately 700,000 passengers every year. Airline Terminal Expansion Approved

The Gallatin Airport Authority Board decided yesterday to proceed with a major airline terminal expansion. The $40 million project will more than double the size of the terminal and is expected to take two years to complete. Brian Sprenger named Airport Director

The Gallatin Airport Authority Board announced today that Brian Sprenger, A.A.E. has been chosen from a field of over 200 applicants to become the new Airport Director at Gallatin Field.

Sprenger, who has served as Assistant Airport Director for the past ten years, will begin his duties on June 1st when long time Airport Director Ted Mathis, A.A.E. retires.
