Gallatin Airport Authority provides airfield tours for local Bozeman students participating in the FAA's Airport Design Challenge
BOZEMAN, MT (November 29, 2023) The Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport's (BZN) Gallatin Airport Authority has organized airfield tours for local 5th and 6th grade students at Heritage Christian School in Bozeman, MT. Heritage Christian's students participate in the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Airport Design Challenge as part of their science, technology, engineering, and mathematics or STEM program.
The FAA launched the Airport Design Challenge (ADC) to further inspire and educate the next generation of professionals in the fields of aerospace and aviation. The ADC is an interactive learning opportunity where STEM students nationwide can design virtual airport simulations using Minecraft.
BZN has received exciting news from Heritage Christian School that two students have placed 3rd in the nationwide competition. We were also pleased to see our Runway 11/29 highlighted in the FAA Administrators video.
